Well, Step up to Success might just be the course for you. It is a programme geared towards women in business who feel stuck and need a helping hand to navigate through those inevitable rough patches.

Designed for business women who have been plugging away for a year or more, we will help you tackle your professional pitfalls and turn them from negatives into achievements.

1. I’m always so busy but never seem to get anything done.

3. I feel intimidated by the sales target I’ve set myself – how on earth will I achieve it?

Over six months, you will meet professional women in similar situations as well as hearing the stories of established business owners who also struggled in the beginning but are now hitting their targets consistently.

You will be supported in a private Facebook group and have the option to attend online meetings.

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

“This time next year, we’ll be millionaires!” Remember that line from Only Fools and Horses? It still gets a chuckle. The hopes and dreams of every business owner wrapped up in a few unforgettable words……

Well, I’m no Del Boy and I’m pretty sure you’re a bit savvier than the long-suffering Rodney but I am a business owner that wants to help women move forward and achieve their professional goals.

Step up to Success is an exciting chance to learn the ins and outs of business, to help you keep the momentum going and to support you through those rough patches.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

The programme is geared towards business women who might feel stuck and need that extra push.

Over six months we will tackle issues facing business owners generally, as well as focusing upon areas that specifically impact women in business.

The aim is to rediscover the passion you once had for your company and to learn how to knock down the obstacles in your way piece by piece (or spreadsheet by spreadsheet!)

We will learn the best routes to financial growth, business expansion and how to take your professional life in a new direction. We will also set realistic goals for you and your business.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step up to Success is for women who have been in business for one year or more.

At the monthly meetings you and nine other professionals will meet at Hunton Park Hotel, in Hertfordshire. You will be paired with a ‘business buddy’ who will be your partner until the next meeting.

Every session each member will present their business. You might want to discuss general matters, a particular hurdle blocking your path to success or to celebrate something that has happened in your business.  Each member will get around 30 minutes to get help with their business.

Expert speakers have been arranged to give insight into areas such as marketing, business development and accounting.

By joining us you will have access to online meetings and a private Facebook group where you can keep in touch with other members.

Information about the first group

The first group is for ladies who have been in business for at least 1 year and would like to achieve one or more of the following:

  •  Financial Growth
  • Business Expansion
  • New Direction for the Business

The group will run for 6 months and there will be a maximum of 6 ladies in the group.

Each month:

  • every member will be able to share what they have achieved in the last month and at the end of the meeting they will share what they are planning to do in the next month.
  • every member will get a 25 to 30 minute slot to discuss their business with the group and get feedback from the group. The time can be used to talk about an issue, ask for opinions or celebrate something amazing that has happened in the business in the past month.
  • an expert will come in for 1 hour over lunch to present on a topic applicable to all the businesses in the group and have a Q&A session. That expert will not be present for the rest of the meeting.
  • there will be an online meeting for the group where every member will have a chance to discuss issues and get feedback to continue working on their businesses
  • each member will be ‘buddied’ with another lady in the group for that month so they can support each other (this will change each month)

There will be a Facebook group for the ladies to communicate on a regular basis, as and when they want to.
